Deep Well Dewatering

Deep well systems are effective dewatering solutions using submersible pumps installed in wells ranging from 75mm to 600mm in diameter, capable of handling flows from a few to thousands of GPM. Unlike suction-based systems, deep wells are ideal for greater depths, typically from 6m to over 100m.

They are most effective in deep, homogeneous aquifers and provide high volume pumping with stable groundwater control. Fujian delivers turnkey deep well solutions—from design and drilling to pump installation—tailored to project-specific needs.

Hydrogeological Modeling & Monitoring GOCT has a certified engineering team specializing in civil, geological, and hydrogeological services. We deliver comprehensive site assessments and groundwater system analysis using advanced 2D and 3D conceptual modeling. Our goal is to design cost- effective, environmentally friendly solutions using the latest engineering tools and technologies.

Capabilities Include:- Dewatering and groundwater control system design - Flow and contaminant transport modeling - Hydrogeological behavior and water head fluctuation analysis Groundwater Monitoring & Reporting

GOCT employs skilled technicians and advanced instrumentation to monitor key groundwater parameters, including water levels, hydraulic conductivity, temperature, and pore pressure. We utilize:- Flow meters - Pressure transducers with data loggers - Piezometers (standpipe and pore pressure types) - Real-time monitoring systems with 24-hour data access This ensures accurate, reliable reporting and compliance with project and environmental requirements.

WellPoint Dewatering

WellPoint dewatering is a proven and versatile pre-drainage method suitable for a wide range of soil conditions. It is particularly effective in shallow aquifers (up to 5–6 meters) and is ideal for lowering groundwater in fine silts to coarse sands and gravels.

A typical system includes a WellPoint pump, header piping, and multiple well points. The pump performs three key functions: generating vacuum, pumping water, and separating air from water. The header manifold distributes suction to each well point, drawing groundwater through screened intakes and filter packs.

For optimal performance, GOCT designs WellPoint systems based on critical site conditions such as soil type, permeability, water volume, layout, depth to impervious layers, and friction losses.

Sump Pump Dewatering

Sump pump dewatering is a basic yet effective method where groundwater is allowed to collect in low-lying pits (sumps) and then pumped out. It is commonly used for shallow excavations and surface water control.

Sumps serve two main purposes:

Collect surface runoff via ditches or channels for discharge.

Manage groundwater seepage in shallow excavations or toe drains.

Pumps are strategically placed to ensure efficient water removal and maintain dry working conditions. The detailed cross-section of Sump pump dewatering system is provided below,
